MATERIAL OFF-GASSING

Materials off-gassing studies are conducted in small chambers both open and closed to the ambient air. The chamber studies can be performed under controlled conditions such as relative humidity and temperature. Any possible off-gassed volatiles or odorous compounds are then collected and analyzed to obtain a rate of release of the compounds of interest. The studies are designed and customized to suit each client's particular requirements and material(s) specifications.
