Maryam Azad is a graduate of California State University at Los Angeles, receiving her Masters of Science in 2003 for her work on the “Binding Studies of Glycopeptide Antibiotics to Peptides Using Affinity Capillary Electrophoresis.”
Maryam Azad is a resourceful environmental scientist with expertise in air, water and soil sampling techniques, EPA methods, and strong chemical and analytical capabilities. Through working 18 years in research, she became the key chemist in development of two US patents: Enhanced Oxidation Process for Removing Water and Soil Contaminants (0,263,460) and Process for Recovering Precious Metals from Sources with Low Concentrations (6,551,378). She is the author of 6 publications.
Her interest in environmental sustainability fueled her desire to start her own company in August 2010.
